CARVING YOUR CREATIVE PRACTICE
Run time: 90 min - 4 hrs
Owning our destinies as self-employed artists.
This workshop is designed for young artists or artists new to the English environment. It is an extremely practical workshop, where we will talk about the everyday problems of an artist in the current environment, and find solutions together. As creatives, we must treat our art as a business, and be the first - even before our agents - to root for ourselves. We will talk about how to tackle questions of money, planning, inspiration, networking, emotional ups and downs, and there will be space for questions, too.
This workshop is offered in collaboration with Arielle Zilkha.

Francesca graduated in Advanced Theatre Practice from Royal Central School and Speech and Drama in 2023. Since then, she has been the Artistic Director of Psychonaut Theatre, producing shows, scratch nights, comedy nights, performances, curating exhibitions and more; ofter showcasing her own artistic products (acting, doing the scenography, painting, performing) in those events, too. Being a migrant from Italy and a multidisciplinary artist, she has experienced the specific British Arts system with a different eye, and has since researched and practiced the best ways to live a complex, fulfilling artistic career - with all the ups and downs that this journey brings.
